Our priority here at Pettitts is our guests, staff and animals. We aim to do all we can to offer a safe & enjoyable day out. Over the recent weeks we have been working hard to implement the social distancing measures required to offer our guests a safe & enjoyable visit as always.

We recommend you to make online bookings where possible.

Please make payments using contactless / bank card where possible to reduce the use of cash.

We politely request that you do not visit our attraction if you are experiencing any of the symptoms associated with Covid-19

If recommended or required by local health authorities please wear a face mask / covering when visiting the attraction.

Upon arrival to our car park please respect social distancing at all times.

We have reduced the daily capacity of the park to allow for social distancing and the best possible customer experience.

We have introduced capacity limits for our indoor facilities including our giftshop, cafe areas. This will allow guests to maintain social distancing.

We have installed new hygiene screens at our food outlets & service counters, to help physically separate guests from our staff members.

Clear signage, floor markers, capacity limit, and a one-way system is in place for our giftshop to ensure social distancing is maintained.

Some indoor attractions may be suspended until further guidelines are released

We have implemented measures to ensure social distancing is maintained on our rides. Our staff will be trained to ensure guests are separated by leaving empty seats or rows between guests.

We’ve introduced new measures to ensure social distancing whilst queuing. Clear signage and floor markers has been installed at each attraction.

All of our picnic benches / tables & chair seating areas throughout the park and are spaced out adequately to ensure social distancing is maintained.

We have measures in place to maintain social distancing in our theatre during our daily live shows. Any guests from different parties must leave a gap of two seat between them and the rows of seats have been spaced apart adequately to allow for social distancing.

Hygiene & disinfection procedures

We have installed a large number of hygine stations / hand sanitiser units throughout the park, we encourage all of our guests to use these facilities during their visit.

Our staff have undergone additional training to help maintain social distancing. Pettitts staff members wear face mask / covering and gloves at their discretion.

We have amplified the cleaning procedures to target all touch points throughout the park, this includes – tables & chairs, counter tops, handles, taps, flush handles etc. All ride restraints will be disinfected after every ride by a member of staff to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness.

We politely ask all our guests & staff members to maintain their highest standard of hygiene at all times whether it be sneezing, coughing, regular hand washing or frequent use of hand sanitiser etc.

We have introduced new cleaning protocols for our toilet facilities. Our toilets will be cleaned very frequently throughout the day targeting all touch points. We have supplied additional Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for our sanitary staff.

All of our staff members has undergone exceptional Covid-19 training and given strict guidelines prior to any interactions with our guests.

The government advice is changing very quickly, sometimes on a day by day basis. We will always try to keep this page up-to-date but we suggest you also refer to the government advice for total clarity on the curent Covid-19 situation and advice. As the advice changes we will adapt our on-site operational practices to match the latest guidelines.
